This page explains which data allia and the allia-app.fr website handle, why, and how you stay in control. In short: your answers, your moods and your history stay on your phone. allia has no user account and sends them to no server.
Data controller
Thomas Pageot EI, whose details are given in the legal notice. Contact: lesminitels@protonmail.com.
In the app
What you share with allia
- your first name, if you choose to give it;
- your answers to the 20 questions of the personality questionnaire, the scores on five axes calculated from them and your portrait;
- what you would like to work on, the season of life you are going through and, if you wish, your situation (relationship, children, work);
- your wording preferences, for example for affirmations that speak of energy, the universe and the soul;
- your daily moods;
- your reading history (affirmations seen, kept, shared or hidden) and the affirmations you write yourself;
- your settings: language, theme, reminders and widgets.
This data is only used to choose affirmations that sound like you and to remind you of them. Some of it is personal, such as your moods or your spiritual preferences: it never leaves your device, unless you export it yourself.
Where it is stored
Everything is saved on your phone, in the app’s private storage. Part of it is copied to the space shared by the app and its widgets, on the same device, to show your affirmation and your mood on the home screen. The publisher has no access to any of this data.
It is kept as long as the app is installed. “Erase everything”, under “Manage my data”, deletes it at any time; uninstalling the app deletes it too. If your phone’s backup is turned on (iCloud on iPhone, Google on Android), the system may include this data in it: that backup is managed by Apple or Google, and the publisher has no access to it.
Reminders
Reminders are scheduled on your phone, with no notification server. allia asks for your permission before sending any, and you can withdraw it at any time in your device settings.
Premium subscription
Purchases and billing go through Apple’s App Store or Google Play: the publisher never receives your payment details.
The subscription screens and the check of your subscription are provided by Superwall (Superwall, Inc., United States). Superwall receives an anonymous identifier created by its module, technical information about your device and the app, subscription events (an offer shown, a purchase, a restore) and, if you gave it, your first name, to greet you on the subscription screen, as well as the end date of a limited offer. Superwall receives neither your answers, nor your scores, nor your moods, nor your situation. [À COMPLÉTER : vérifier la liste des données collectées par le module Superwall, leur durée de conservation et les garanties du transfert hors de l’Union européenne] [À COMPLÉTER : lien vers la politique de confidentialité de Superwall]
Sharing
When you share an affirmation, the image is created on your phone. It only goes where you choose: your device’s share sheet, your photos (allia only asks for permission to add images) or an Instagram or Facebook story. In that last case, the image is handed to Meta’s app, whose privacy policy applies.
Export and import
“Export my data” creates a file with your profile, your moods, your history, your affirmations and your settings. You choose where to send or save it. “Import data” replaces the app’s data with that of an exported file.
What the app does not do
No advertising, no ad tracking, no audience measurement, no sale of data.
On the allia-app.fr website
The website sets no cookies, does not measure its audience and loads no third-party resource: fonts and images are hosted on the website. Like any web server, the website’s server records the date, the requested page, the browser and a truncated IP address (the last two numbers of an IPv4 address are erased) in technical logs, for the security and proper running of the website. These logs are kept for 7 days, then erased.
If you write to lesminitels@protonmail.com, your address and your message are only used to reply to you; they are kept for three months at most.
Legal bases
- Running the app and managing your subscription rely on the performance of the contract, that is the terms of use.
- Reminders and adding images to your photos rely on your consent, given through your device permissions.
- Server logs rely on the publisher’s legitimate interest in protecting the website.
Your rights
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability (articles 15 to 21 of the GDPR). For the app’s data, you exercise them yourself: your profile can be edited in the app, the export gives you a copy and “Erase everything” deletes it all. For anything else, write to lesminitels@protonmail.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
